The powder ski from Atomic for deep days The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 was never to be outdone on deep powder days. Now, however, this legend also comes with revolutionary HRZN technology, which gives you more float surface at the nose and tail and thus offers a lot of control in difficult terrain. The woodcore keeps the ski light, while carbon backbones provide stability and stiffness. A ski for deep snow, endless sidehits and descents full of butters. Riding style A powder ski for advanced and expert riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Shape This ski comes with a Directional shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow. Profile The Powder Rocker profile combines a tip and tail rocker with regular camber under the binding. This profile gives the ski a lot of pop and control. The rocker in nose and tail makes the ski a little more forgiving and gives it more lift in deep snow. Construction With the Dura Cap sidewall construction, the sidewall extends the full length of the ski for maximum power transfer and edge control. The rounded shape makes the Dura Cap sidewall even less susceptible to scratches and damage. The Light Woodcore consists of poplar wood. This wood core reduces weight while cushioning vibrations and providing smoother riding experience. In addition, Carbon Backbones provide stability and stiffness. The HRZN Tech in the tip and tail is reminiscent of the shape of a spoon. It increases the surface of the ski tips by 10 % and provides sensational uplift.
